Just recently we celebrated Earth Day and everybody talks about going local and sustainabilty. The local farming community is growing more and more organic produce and many of us who used to miss seasonal shopping at a farmers' market back home are now spoilt for choice.

This small and hidden organic shop based in Jumeirah Lakes Towers, runs a 'Farm 2 Fork' service, with locally sourced organic fruits and vegetables in boxes ready for pick up or free home delivery each Wednesday. The farmers' market at the JLT store with many activities such as book reading for kids is happening on Friday mornings.
